In which our hero

I figured it was a good time to start having opinions, after actively avoiding having them for 45 years, and at the same time figuring that my life could be anywhere from 50 to 99% over by now.

The main thrust of this blog will be my music, the various projects in which I’m immersed, the technology that makes it happen, and the stuff produced by other people that hikes my kilt up, but you may expect to see a bit of baseball talk here too, especially as it pertains to the New York Yankees and the AL East. And maybe a little about current affairs too– I used to think of myself as being a bit right of center, but the more I go to church the more I find myself sliding inexorably to the left.

To call this a mission statement would be to invest this with a gravity it could not possibly have (or sustain even if it had it).
